Approximate viscosity reference table for the most common liquid media
Date:2019-06-01 browse:1112
Viscosity refers to the fluidity (or imfluidity) of a substance. Any fluid has a viscosity. The viscosity of a liquid is a measure of its resistance to shear force,
which is only apparent during initial and continuous flow. For example, a liquid with a high viscosity requires more force to flow than a liquid with a low viscosity.
Fluid viscosity is temperature dependent.
The commonly used viscosity measurement units are centipoise cP, poisp, etc., and their conversion process is: 1 centipoise (1cP)=1 millipascals.
Seconds (1mPa.s) 100 centipoisons (100cP)=1 poisons (1P)1000 millipascals. Second (1000mPa.s)=1 PASCAL. Second (1Pa.s)
The transmission of the Ji kerr liquid injection pump is completed by the rotary push and pull of the ceramic plunger,
so the viscosity of the transmitted fluid will affect the flow rate and accuracy of the liquid injection pump to a large extent.
Under normal circumstances, the flow rate marked by Ji kerr is the flow value of water as a reference. If the transferred liquid has viscosity,
the selection should leave an appropriate margin, so as not to reach the required flow value.
Water has a viscosity of 1 centipoise and flows very easily. Common substances can be compared according to the viscosity of the fluid.
The following table shows the viscosity values of common substances (for reference only).
